The future of our company, lies with its people. Edwin Construction takes great pride in the numerous projects it is involved in. Projects are aimed at the upliftment of communities in which we work.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
- Our company strives to establish a culture of learning through training and development. This is intended to equip employees with the necessary skills to facilitate service excellence and the company's growth objectives.
- Access to appropriate training and development opportunities are available to all employees.
- Business and individual development needs drive opportunities whereby individual employees are made co-responsible with management for thier own development. Special attention is paid to the accelerated developmnet of employees from designated groups.
- The upliftment of designated groups is given priority attention through targeted Student Management Programmes at Technikon and University levels.
- Opportunities are created for adult basic education programmes. This is aimed at enabling members from within designated groups to acquire the necessary educational and life skills to compete and advance in the workplace. Training on employment equity is provided to management and employees throughout the company.
HUMAN RESOURCES, SUCCESSION AND CAREER PLANS
Human Resources and succession planning is based on organisational requirements focussed on developing the company. Career plans are targeted particularly, though not exclusively, at meeting the needs of desingnated groups.
